Product description:
TEROSON RB 4120 ELASTIC is an air drying sealant paste based on artificial resins/synthetic rubber with a low solvent content. The black sealant exhibits excellent sag resistance and adhesion to damp glass (important for sealing leaking windshields). When the solvents have evaporated, the remaining material is permanently plastic, resistant to ageing and weathering, with good sealing properties at joints between window frames, rubber window mouldings and vehicle windshields. During extreme buckling of the vehicle there will be a splittingof the bead rather than a loosening from the substrates due to the low cohesion of the sealant compared to its good adhesion. The permanent tack of the material will cause the bead to immediately re-close and join after pressure is applied. Further information about the product: biuro@woronko-kleje.pl

Steps to achieve the best adhesive results:
TEROSON RB 4120 ELASTIC is applied from nozzle cartridges using standard commercial compressed air or hand guns. TEROSON RB 4120 ELASTIC is applied in such a way that all cavities are completely filled, whilst not injecting too much sealant into the joints. After sealing, the rubber moulding must be in full contact with the vehicle body and the glass. It is unavoidable that some excess material will be squeezed out of the joints in the process. This bulk of excess material must not be removed with solvents, but rather be taken off roughly with a wooden spatula or dusting paper before it dries. The more material that can be removed this way the easier the final cleaning will be.The remaining film is removed by means of a domestic window cleaner. Make sure not to clean off too much material out of the joints, whilst the sealant on the other side is completely covered by the lip of the moulding to avoid attraction of dust.
