Product description:
TEROSON BT SP 100 is a pressure sensitive sound deadening board based on bitumen/plastic with a stabilizing effect by means of a fleece lamination (aluminum/silver) on the visible surface. The relatively heavy bitumen material is effective against structure-borne noise and reduces both oscillations and the resulting noise from metal and plastic components. The board is pressure sensitive and fitted with a solvent free assembly adhesive based on special acrylate copolymers. Application Areas:
The main area of application for TEROSON BT SP 100 is for door interiors in vehicles to reduce the noise on closing. In addition, TEROSON BT SP 100 can be used for all other internal side panels of vehicles and also for the sound deadening of garage doors, wash basins etc.
Directions for use:
The desired shape and size should be scored on the visible side of the TEROSON BT SP 100 board using a knife. The board should then be broken along the scored line. The silicone paper should be removed in sections from the reverse side and the adhesive side of the TEROSON BT SP 100 board pressed onto the surface. Care should be taken to ensure even and firm pressure. The temperature of the material and surface should not be less than 18 °C during application.The bonding can be assisted by priming the substrate with TEROSON SB 2444.
