LOCTITE® 55 is a paste soaked polyamide fiber pipes and fittings sealing cord. Ready to use straight from its ergonomic dispensing package, it winds easily onto threads for a secure seal. Ideal for both metal and plastic pipe threads up to 4". It excels in industrial applications involving both aqueous and non-aqueous fluids. It is the perfect choice for assemblies requiring immediate use or those that may need minor readjustments before final installation. Approved, among others, by DVGW (gas), KTW; NSF; PZH (potable water) and Kiwa (hydrogen), with a reliable service temperature up to 149°C, LOCTITE® 55 ensures a high-performance seal even in demanding environments.
