Product Description
LOCTITE® 2700 is designed for the locking and sealing of threaded fasteners. The product cures when confined in theabsence of air between close fitting metal surfaces and prevents loosening and leakage from shock and vibration. LOCTITE® 2700 is developed for applications where disassembly is not required. LOCTITE® 2700 is particularly suitable for applications on zinc-flake coated surfaces.
Properties
- High strength for permanent locking of vibrating assemblies, e.g. pumps, gear boxes and presses
- No hazard symbols, risks or safety phrases
- Can be disassembled by heating to 250°C (482°F)
- Excellent cure strength on zinc-flake coated steel
- Improved cure speed on inactive substrates
