TEROSON WX 950 Ultra - 1l (wax based corrosion inhibitor)
No.
IDH.796108
Product description:
TEROSON WX 950 is a solvent containing, beige anticorrosive agent based on wax and polymers with a solid content approx. 70 %. The product has an excellent ductibility and crepp behaviour. An optimum protection against corrosion will be reached already on a layer thickness of 0.5 mm. The application of TEROSON WX 950 will be clean and shows a low form of mist. Because TEROSON WX 950 is based on polymers and waxes a surface coating is possible without covering functional parts. The dry film is firm to the touch but slightly sticky. The material has self-healing properties. Further information about the product: biuro@woronko-kleje.pl
Application Areas:TEROSON WX 950 is primarily used on vehicle underbodies, particularly for the treatment of all protective coatings, like those based on PVC, PVC/wax, bitumen/rubber and rubber/resins. The product is particularly suitable for underbodies of busses, tramways, delivery trucks and special vehicles.
Directions for use:
Pretreatment:
Surfaces to be treated with TEROSON WX 950 have to be cleaned well and rust must be removed. The areas must be dry and grease, dirt and dust free. In the case of new vehicles, protective wax must be steam-cleaned. If applied to older vehicles, watch out for beginning of rust formation, which has to be removed with a wire brush.
Application:
For a good adhesion and a well material processing it is necessary, that the vehicle underbody is not cold. A temperature of 15°C should be given during application for material and body.
Application from drums:
TEROSON WX 950 will be applicated by the spraying without atomizing air (airless method) air encompassing can be avoided and contamination by spraying mist can be prevented. In order to avoid bare patches, the material should be sprayed in one or two criss-cross fashion. Recommended layer thickness under 1 mm. A recommendation for suitable airless-equipment could be given on request. After drying over night the vehicle is ready for use. For final drying 24 - 48 hours are necessary.
Application from 1L Cans:
TEROSON WX 950 is applied with the Teroson-UBC–gun from 1-l-cans; application pressure approx. 4 bar. Shake the can well prior to use. In order to avoid bare patches, the material should be spayed in crisscross fashion. On vertical surfaces, the underbody coating can be applied in one step up to 1 mm layer thickness (wet film). Under favourable weather conditions, the vehicle is ready for use the day after application. For final drying 24 - 48 hours are necessary.
Storage:
Frost sensitive : yes Recommended storage temperature : 10 to 25 °C Shelf life : 24 months
Parameters:
Colour : beige Odour : mild characteristic Consistency : thick liquid Density : approx. 0.97 g/cm³ Solids : 70 % Drop point : >110 °C Viscosity : approx. 350 mPa.s Behaviour in the cold : no cracking, no flaking off Storage : 8 hrs -40 °C Mandrel : 70 mm Ø Temperature resistance : no sagging up to 100 °C Corrosion resistance : salt spray test to DIN 50021 min. 480 hr(s) without rust Humidity climate : test DIN 50017 min. 400 hr(s) without rust Application temperature : 10 to 25 °C
